What kind of media do you use?

media.jpg
Note that many HP printers offer print-shop quality colour, allowing you to create marketing materials in-house.
HP Officejet Pros and HP LaserJets each have particular printing strengths. When choosing a new printer, consider which media you use most:
Plain paper: Both Officejets and LaserJets excel with plain paper.
A wide-variety of media: Because of the way LaserJets fuse ink to the paper with heat and pressure, they do best with plain paper while inkjet printers typically handle a wide range of media from regular paper to cloth to CD/DVD labels to photo paper.
Wide-format: While HP offers Officejets and LaserJets that can handle media up to 13" x 19", often these printers are used for posters or banners which require card stock, thick cardboard, or transparencies. Be sure to choose a wide-format HP Officejet if you require greater flexibility in media types.
Tip: To meet a wide range of paper handling and media compatibility demands, you may benefit from a mix of printers.
